After serving as Global Lead in Biodiversity & Ecosystems at Ramboll (a Top10 consulting firm) guiding a team of 300+ specialists in delivering nature-based solutions, it was time to found The Nature Imperative to work more directly and closely with clients creating positive outcomes.

Director Samantha Deacon is passionate about the natural environment, driving impactful change and is an accomplished consultant with more than 25 years’ experience leading global nature strategies, environmental risk and product stewardship programmes.

She is recognised for her enthusiasm, research and innovation, deep technical expertise paired with exceptional communication and cross-functional leadership.
